Diam-diam Raka yang terbakar dendam, mendatangi basecamp Romi untuk membalaskan dendamnya. Tapi malah Raka babak belur dihajar Romi dengan Gank-nya. Topan, Chanisa dan Helen juga diteror Romi sehingga harus sembunyi sambil menunggu Raka. Setelah beberapa hari, Raka belum juga datang, akhirnya Topan menyusul. Machete (Danny Trejo) is a renegade former "Mexican Federale". He roams the cities, towns, and streets of Texas looking for work after a shakedown from a drug lord called Torrez (Steven Segal).

Machete has a run-in with Michael Benz (Jeff Fahey), a local businessman and spin doctor, who tells Machete that McLaughlin (Robert De Niro), a corrupt senator, is sending hundreds of illegal immigrants out of the country and that he must be killed. Benz offers Machete $150,000 to kill McLaughlin who quickly accepts the murder contract out of greed for the money.

Attempting to assassinate the senator at a political rally, Machete is double-crossed and is shot in the shoulder by Benz's henchmen whom are soon revealed to be in league with Senator McLaughlin who orchestrated the entire attempted assassination with Benz as part of a false flag operation to gain widespread public support for McLaughlin's harsh anti-immigration laws by setting up Machete as the patsy to make it appear that an outlaw illegal Mexican immigrant tried to assassinate the senator.

Now on the run from the law and being tracked not only by a ruthless henchwoman hired by Torrez, but Machete is also tracked down by Sartana (Jessica Alba), a persistant U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent with a special interest in the blade slinger. Machete goes after Benz and his men, as well as Senator McLaughlin, with the help of his only three allies; his "holy" Federale-turned-priest brother Padre (Cheech Marion) with a thing for pump-action shotguns; a saucy meat cleaver-wielding taco slinger named Luz (Michelle Rodriguez); and Benz socialite daughter April (Lindsey Lohan), whom Machete kidnapps and who soon develops a fancination for the blade-wielding fugitive since April has a penchant for guns. Machete rallies a group of illegal migrants together, and they all begin to hunt the people who double crossed him.

They find out that Dave is going to rob a house that night, so they stake out the house to retrieve the card and gun. Paul arrests Dave and discovers he has sold the card and gun for drugs.

Royce (Adrien Brody) awakens from unconsciousness to find himself parachuting into an unfamiliar jungle. He meets several others who have arrived there in the same manner: Mexican drug cartel enforcer Cuchillo (Danny Trejo), Spetsnaz soldier Nikolai (Oleg Taktarov), Israel Defense Forces sniper Isabelle (Alice Braga), Revolutionary United Front officer Mombasa (Mahershalalhashbaz Ali), death row inmate Stans (Walton Goggins), Yakuza enforcer Hanzo (Louis Ozawa Changchien), and doctor Edwin (Topher Grace). None of them know where they are or how they arrived there. Royce takes charge but reveals little about himself, though Isabelle suspects that he is a mercenary and former black operations soldier. He speculates that they have been brought to the jungle for a reason since with the exception of Edwin they are all armed and lethal killers. In the jungle, they find empty cages, plants with a neurotoxic poison that Edwin collects on a scalpel, and a deceased United States Special Forces soldier. Arriving at higher ground, they find themselves staring at an alien sky, and conclude that they are not on Earth.

After the party is attacked by a pack of quadrupedal alien beasts, Royce deduces that the planet is some type of game preserve and that the humans are being hunted as game. Hearing Cuchillo's cries for help, they find his dead body being used and voice being mimicked in an attempt to bait them into a trap. They follow the quadrupeds' tracks to a hunting encampment and find a captive Predator. Three larger Predators attack, killing Mombasa, but the rest of the group escapes. Isabelle reveals that she has heard of these creatures before, from a report by the only survivor of a Special Forces team who encountered one in Val Verde, Guatemala in 1987 (referring to the events of Predator).

The group next meets Noland (Laurence Fishburne), an air assault soldier who has survived on the planet for years by scavenging and hiding in an abandoned structure. He explains that the Predators sharpen their killing skills by collecting warriors and dangerous beasts from other worlds and bringing them to the planet to hunt. Noland also reveals that there is a blood feud between the larger Predators and the smaller ones. Royce hopes that if they free the smaller Predator being held prisoner in the encampment, it might be able to take them home using the other Predators' spaceship. Noland attempts to murder the group during the night, but Royce creates noise to attract the Predators, who kill Noland. In the ensuing chase, Nikolai sacrifices himself to kill one of the Predators, using an explosive. Stans is killed by a second Predator, which Hanzo then succeeds in killing in a sword fight at the cost of his own life.

Edwin is injured by a trap as he, Royce, and Isabelle head for the encampment. When Isabelle refuses to abandon him, Royce leaves them both behind, and they are caught by the third and final large Predator. Royce frees the smaller Predator and heads for the ship as the two Predators confront each other. The larger Predator kills its foe and then destroys the ship as it takes off. Meanwhile, Edwin paralyzes Isabelle with the neurotoxic poison on his scalpel and reveals that on Earth he was a psychopathic murderer, and feels that he fits in on this planet among the monsters. Royce appears, never having boarded the ship, and saves Isabelle by stabbing Edwin through the throat.

Royce booby-traps Edwin's body with grenades, using him as bait to disorient the Predator. He uses the fire to hide his heat signature, and a violent fight ensues. While Royce is hiding behind a tree to take a break, the Predator changes his point of view from heat signal, to tracking heartbeat. Right away, the Predator finds Royce behind a tree and attacks him. Just when Royce is about to be given a death blow from the Predator, Isabelle drags her body towards the sniper and shoots the Predator. This allows Royce to get back up and suscessfully decapitate the Predator. As Royce and Isabelle recover from their ordeal, they observe more prey being parachuted down to the jungle. Royce declares that they must find another way off of the planet.

My first encounter with the Mothman came in kindergarten. Being that I was all about dinosaurs and Godzilla and monster movies at the time, I gravitated towards the 000 section of the library, always checking out books on Bigfoot, UFOs, the Loch Ness Monster, and their ilk. One such book featured an entry on the Mothman of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, said to have terrorized townsfolk and caused a deadly bridge collapse in 1967. The accompanying drawing portrayed a Nosferatu-looking fiend with fangs, bat wings, and big red eyes eerily peeping through a window. Suffice to say, as a child of such a young age, that drawing made quite the impression on me despite being inaccurate to actual eyewitness descriptions of the creature.

In high school I read John Keel's The Mothman Prophecies and learned that the allegedly true story was even weirder than I could have possibly imagined (Mothman, UFO sightings, Men in Black threatening witnesses, prophecies of doom, and so on). The 2002 Richard Gere movie version remains a sore subject for me because of how it so badly mistreated the source material. What should have been David Lynch by way of "The X-Files" instead jettisoned the extraterrestrial aspect in favor of a Sixth Sense-esque "psychological thriller" (as the film's director insisted to avoid the dreaded scourge of being labeled as horror). I’m surprised it has taken this long for Syfy to finally make its own Mothman movie.

Plot
In inner city London, a street dance crew is on the verge of breaking up after its leader, Jay, leaves the group unexpectedly. The group loses the use of their rehearsal space, forcing them to try and raise money or practice in other locations. Eventually they secure a space in a ballet school, on the condition that they include five ballet dancers in their routine. At first, they struggle to get along, but they all become friends in the end.

One of the teachers at the ballet school, Helena, takes Carly to a ballet where she starts getting ideas for their routine. When she arrives home, Carly finds Jay waiting for her and the two spend the night together. During a dance battle in a club the next night, the team learn that Jay has betrayed the team by joining The Surge, a rival crew. Jay brags about his sex with Carly and Thomas, a ballet dancer, punches Jay out of anger. Jay is furious and swears revenge. Carly, upset over the betrayal, leaves the club and is nearly hit by a car before Thomas pulls her out of the way. Thomas then takes Carly back to his apartment where they dance on the roof, eventually kissing.

The next day at the school, Carly announces the new name of their dance crew: Breaking Point. Another teacher at the school, outraged that her students are being corrupted, deliberately plans a Royal Ballet audition for the same day as the street dance finals. The Ballet dancers promise Carly they will make it but the auditions were running overtime.

In an attempt to give Breaking Point more time to wait for the ballet dancers, Carly's friend Eddie (George Sampson) goes out onto the dance floor and starts dancing, surprising the crew. The ballet team turn up at the final anyway, and their teacher Helena drives the judges to the final so they can see the dancers perform. However just before they go on Jay corners Thomas and offers him a choice: Either he does the competition and Jay'll sue or Thomas leaves Carly's crew and Jay'll leave him alone. Thomas panics but is pushed on by Carly. The routine is a success, Carly and Thomas kiss after the performance, and the crowd is enthralled. Jay is furious that the Surge have been beaten and he's lost Carly. So he corners Thomas afterwards and picks a fight with him. Carly walks in on it and a fight ensues. Jay is knocked out by Thomas and he and Carly kiss.

The film ends with Breaking Point and Surge dancing to N-Dubz' "We Dance On".
